Reflections on India

At every stop you see remarkable beauty and evidence of past glory, but you also see the heart-wrenching poor. India's poverty is almost as stunning as the great edifices and natural wonders that make the country famous. Let it all-the warm smiles, bright colors, intense spices, chaotic traffic and abject poverty-add to the mystery of Idia. In response, you may find yourself longing to return to explore, help street children and, of course, catch another glance of the Taj Mahal. Don't worry,India invites you back.
